JZ Memorial Fund

All funds raised at the JZ Memorial Golf Classic go directly to supporting families with children facing life threatening diseases. We have been humbled by the generous support displayed over the last number of years. We have raised and donated over $100,000 in the short existence of this tournament. Jordan’s legacy of hope and love is being carried forward in ways we never would have imagined!

Despite ugly forecasts through the week and during the day, the rain and lightning held off for almost the entire day as we were able to host another successful Jordan Zacharias Memorial Golf Classic tournament. Thanks to the incredible generosity of the golfers, sponsors and attendees, we were able to raise $34,360 for the Jordan Zacharias Memorial fund and other charities that were close to Jordan and her family. To say we are humbled is an understatement.

Our thanks to the volunteers, sponsors (both corporate, hole and hole-in-one) and all of our golfers and guests for helping us continue to grow this incredible legacy in Jordan's name.

2014 Tournament Update: SOLD OUT

We are thrilled to announce that this year's tournament is sold out! We are overwhelmed by the generosity shown by so many people for this event and cause. For those of you who were unable to get a spot and still want an opportunity, we will now start a waiting list in case anything opens up over the next week.

The prizes and auction items continue to pour in and we are very happy to be having some unique items for this years tournament. We will continue to update below when new items come in.

2014 Tournament Update

It seems like every year that we host this tournament we say the same thing, so we don't know why it comes as a surprise this year. The organizing committee is again overwhelmed by the support for this year's tournament. We are nearing a sell out yet again and have a record number of corporate sponsors lined up for this year's event. We have new items coming in for the auction and have not one but two amazing hole in one prizes. So, for a quick recap, here is where we stand.

Golfers:

If you haven't signed up yet, make sure to do so quickly. We are expecting this tournament to sellout and we want to make sure everyone that want's to participate has the opportunity to do so. We are on a first come, first serve basis so please ensure you sign up quickly..

We are pleased to announce that the upcoming tournament registration is now open! Last year was one of our most successful tournaments to date and we look forward to another great tournament on Thursday, July 24th at the Legends golf course in Warman.

Merry Christmas from the Jordan Zacharias Memorial Golf Classic

Merry Christmas to all our of past and present golfers, sponsors and various supporters of the Jordan Zacharias Memorial Golf Classic. We want to take this time to let you know what we've been working on and what to look forward to in the new year in regards to our annual golf tournament. 

The 2013 Jordan Zacharias Golf Classic was one of biggest and most successful tournaments to date. We continue to be amazed how both corporations and individuals have gotten behind what we are doing with this tournament. The 2013 tournament raised nearly $28,000. These funds were distributed to the Children’s Wish foundation, Little Bald Angles Foundation, the Sask Children's hospital fund and the Jordan Zacharias Memorial Fund.

We are also very encouraged as to the direction the Jordan Zacharias Memorial Fund has taken this past year as well. Our mandate remains the same, to give assistance where possible to those families who have children facing life threatening illnesses. We continue to be amazed how this fund has grown and how we've been honored to be able to help families during their time of need. We look forward to building this fund even more in order to help more families.

We encourage you to mark the date for next year’s tournament as it has been set for July 24th, 2014 at the Legends Golf Course in Warman. We have more unique and impressive items already starting to roll in and we look forward to next year's tournament being our best yet.

The Jordan Zacharias Memorial Golf Classic is Thursday! What you can expect.....

To our valued golfers and sponsors,

We’re two days away from the Jordan Zacharias Memorial Golf Classic and Memorabilia auction and we wanted to give you a quick update as to what you can expect (Make sure to forward this to the rest of your team to ensure everyone knows what to expect on Thursday.)

Registration
 Registration will open at 12:00 at the Legends golf course in Warman with the tournament starting at 1:00pm sharp!

Dinner

A steak dinner will be served immediately after the golfing is complete on the second level of the Legends clubhouse.

Prizes

We’re excited for all the different prizes that we have but there are two events that we want to make you aware of before you arrive to the tournament.

 The Trip for 2 Anywhere WestJet Flies Raffle

The raffle tickets will be 1 for $5, 3 for $10 or an arm’s length of tickets for $20.  There will be numerous giveaways for the raffle that will be drawn after the dinner (including various golf merchandise, clothing, etc.) with the grand prize being a trip for 2 anywhere that Westjet flies!

 The “Flip” for the 46’ TV and Blu-ray player

The second event will be the flip for the 46’ TV and Blu Ray player. If you attended our tournament last year, you’ll remember this event in which anyone with a $20 bill can participate. Essentially, you go head to head with the rest of the room calling heads or tails until we work the room down to one lucky winner, that will leave the event with a new 46’ TV and blu-ray player.

So remember to bring a few $20 bills in order to secure your chance at some of these great prizes.

Sports Memorabilia Auction

This is our third tournament and we believe this may be our most unique combination of merchandise yet!

 For the live auctions, we've decided to split the jerseys into two sections this year, the Legends and the Stars.  Both groups will be bid in a “highest bid gets first pick” format.

Tournament just over a week away!

With just over a week to go until the tournament, we're excited to say that we are sold out!  We are thrilled to have the golf course fully booked and we're looking forward to seeing everyone out there. Just a reminder, Registration for the tournament will begin at 12:00 with a shot gun start at 1:00pm sharp at the Legends golf course in Warman!

We've secured some amazing items for this year’s tournament, with autographed memorabilia from across the NHL, NFL and MLB including names like Gretzky, Howe, Coffey, Manning and Henderson among some of the named merchandise we will be auctioning off. We're excited to use this opportunity to raise money for some great charities as well as have people walk away with some rare merchandise. 

We will also be raffling off a trip for 2 anywhere WestJet flies as well as a 42' flat screen television!

Looking forward to seeing everyone next week and crossing our fingers for a beautiful, sunny day.
