Gift Within a Gift
What an incredible day of sun, golf and generosity. The
organizing committee of the Jordan Zacharias Memorial fund continues to be
blown away by the unending support of this day. Derek spoke about how our
organization appreciates the way so many people have become a “gift within a
gift” through this event. Whether it be the generosity of the folks from the
Kelly Chase fantasy hockey camp donating additional spots for auction once they
saw the demand, to our incredibly generous anonymous bidder that got the night
rolling with a jersey purchase of $1700. The choice of jersey was immediately handed
over to one of the great families we have supported who was at the dinner (their
daughter then proceeded to pick out of the entire line of great autographed memorabilia
the Gordie Howe Wings jersey to bring home). It was also shown when a piece of
art work made specifically for our auction from one of the children the Jordan Zacharias
Memorial fund has helped in the past went for $300. These stories of generosity
and selflessness is what continue to amaze us. This tournament has evolved into
something we couldn’t have ever foreseen but we are thrilled and blessed to be
on the ride with all of our amazing supporters.
We are incredibly proud to announce that this year’s golf
tournament raised $70,000. An amazing amount of money that will help so many
families. Every year we think it can’t
get any bigger and every year, it does.

We have had many people ask us how they can help even though they may not make it to the tournament that day. There are a couple ways that our committee would appreciate your assistance.
Hole Sponsors
We want as many hole sponsors as possible! For $250, you or your business can sponsor a hole that will be seen by over 200 golfers on the day of the tournament. Please take time to consider this as another way in which you can support our cause.

We also are thrilled to announce one of our more unique auction
items. The Kelly Chase Fantasy hockey camp has generously donated for our auction an entry into their fantasy hockey school taking place in Saskatoon from August 17-19 in Saskatoon. This weekend
is an amazing opportunity for any hockey enthusiast to play alongside more than
20 current and former pro hockey players. It also supports various charities from across the province. For more information on this great

2017 TOURNAMENT IS SET
The 2017 Jordan Zacharias Memorial Golf Classic is set and this year's organizing committee is setting it's expectations higher than ever. This tournament has raised over $225,000 since it's inception and it continues to be the key fundraising mechanism for the Jordan Zacharias Memorial Fund. We have already secured some incredible auction items along with a long list of hole in one prizes.

2017 Tournament Dates have been set
We are set for the 2017 Jordan Zacharias Memorial Golf Classic. The tournament is set for Thursday, July 27th at the Moon Lake Golf and Country Club. We are excited to have the opportunity to continue to raise money for the Jordan Zacharias Memorial fund that assists families of children facing life threatening illness.

What. A. Day.
It was an incredible day of golf and generosity. A day with
near perfect weather saw a record turnout of golfers and sponsors. It also had
one of our golfers cashing in on a hole in one prize of a 2 year lease of a
Ford Escape. The night ended with an incredible live auction that had an anonymous
bidder donate the first two jerseys of the evening at $2100 a piece to two of
the kids that have been supported by the Jordan Zacharias Memorial Fund this
past year.
In all, just over $65,000 was raised, surpassing our record
of last year by almost $20,000. As an organizing group, we continue to be
humbled by the incredible generosity of everyone that supports this event that is
able to help families when they are faced with unimaginable challenges.
Thank you doesn’t seem like enough but it’s what we continue
to tell you all… Thank you.

Registration: Opens at 12:00. Please make sure to get there early to ensure smooth registration. We are expecting over 200 golfers so we appreciate your patience as we get everyone set up. We will have a shotgun start at 1:00pm!
Weather: If you have been a part of our tournament in the past, you know that we go rain or shine (and if last year is any indication of how serious we are about the term rain or shine, you know we mean it)
Hole in One Prizes: Our hole in one prize list this year is the largest yet. It includes the opportunity to shoot for some of the following prizes.
